This unit does a great job of controlling the humidity level in my basement. To avoid the hassle of emptying the bucket, I have a hose connected from the unit to a drain. The unit generating more heat than I had anticipated. My basement is about 6- 8 degrees warmer when the unit is operating. This is a good thing during winter months, but not so good during summer months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our basement was having some serious moisture issues until we fixed out drive away and down spouts and put this down there. Now when you walk down their the temperature is moderate, the smells of an old basement are reduced and the overall feel is comfortable when doing laundry. The sound that comes off of it is not bad at all, it's nice to hear it because I know it's doing it's job. I would definitely recommend this product!

I have had this for a month and it is great. The large blinking light that tells you the tank is full is a great convenience.

Great as always - love Frigidaire. Moves water quick, doesn't draw much electricity, easy to use. A little loud - the newer model is much quieter; but that's my only complaint.

We bought this to replace an older dehumidifier that was very noisy and did not seem to be doing anything anymore. After using the new model for just a few hours the bucket was already full. It runs great and is not as noisy as our last model. Would recommend to anyone needing a dehumidifier.
