Great product, preforms as advertised

Poor quality

Purchased this unit 3 years ago and it no longer functions as it should. Unit only ran during the summer months intermittently so I know it did not die from overuse. Compressor and fan works fine now, but the unit will never turn off. It just constantly runs. Wondering if this is from the same batch I keep reading others complain about. The last unit I purchased ran for well over 15 years before I replaced it. Even then, it still worked, but wanted to get a nicer looking unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am disappointed to learn about the hiccups you are experiencing with your dehumidifier.
If you have your dehumidifier set to the CONTINUOUS mode, your unit will remain in this mode. Try using the humidity button or knob to set an RH% higher level.
Is your unit near any Windows or doors? If so, Close all windows or doors to the outside.
Did you know? A dirty grill will affect your dehumidifier’s performance. Use brush attachment of vacuum cleaner to clean grill. Your Dehumidifier must be placed in a space that does not restrict air flow into the rear coil or out of the front grill.
Should the above suggestion prove ineffective, please give us a call or reconnect by sending an email to socialcare@frigidaire.com. Our Customer Care Team can be reached via phone by dialing 800-374-4432 and available Monday through Friday from 8:30am-8pm EST.

Outlet voltage should be 115V±10% and the surrounding temperature should be with in the range of 41 °F to 96 °F. Unplug the unit and plug it in again under normal operating conditions.
