Effective Machine

I bought the machine approximately three months ago and it has been excellent at maintaining the humidity in my otherwise damp basement. An excellent value for the money.

Solid well built dehumidifier

This is replacing an older 25 pint module that could barely get the humidity below 55%. With this one I could easily get it down to 44%, probably could go lower. Chose to set it at 50% and keeps the humidity in the 45 to 50% range. My basement is 1200 sq. ft. It really pulls the moisture out fast. The unit is build of plastic like most, but is good quality well built, nice smooth lines. Removing the water bucket worked easier than I expected. It has tracks that help guide the bucket back in place.

Efficient...AND QUIET!!

Purchased this unit several months ago to replace one that just stopped working. I did not realize how much noise the old unit created until I realized I barely heard this one working unless I was very close to it. I also purchased a separate temperature and humidity gauge so I can actually monitor the unit working, and even though I am in a large basement and the gauge is located all the way across the room, I can watch the humidity drop....once the unit is on. Another pleasant surprise was that the built-in humidity digital readout on this unit is accurate, and the unit turns itself off once the desired humidity is reached.

THIS PRODUCT, FRIGIDAIRE DEHUMIDIFIER DID EVERYTHING IT WAS ADVERTISED TO DO. WORTH THE MONEY.

Very solid

The FAD704DWD is running smooth and doing a great job of pulling the moisture out of our cabin basement. Since we are not there all the time, I had our plumber install a drain into the bathroom sink immediately behind the location of the dehumidifier. He hooked up a pipe so that it drains through the wall into the sink drain pipe. (he did have to change out the drain to one with a T to connect this drain hose above the trap. Works great. The electricity is plugged into a heavy duty time to run four hours on and four hours off and is working great.

Woks well & reduced musty odor

Have had this humidifier for 2 months. It works extremely wel and has reduced the humidity an musty odor in my basement
