Does the job but is LOUD.

I bought this unit 2 months ago to place in my walk-out, partially finished basement. It works as expected but is loud. I keep it on the unfinished side whenever I have guests staying on the finished side.

I bought the Frigidaire dehumidifier after having several other brands work for one summer and the following spring they had to be replaced because they wouldn't work! I'm hoping this one will work come next spring! I bought the extended warranty just in case! Hope I don't have to use it!

I bought this to help with a damp area -my basement... after a month, the humidity is at a level we are very happy with, and the unit is not working very hard to keep it there. Good appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was so worried when my dehumidifier came, I wouldn't like it or it would be so heavy to dump the bucket for an older man like me. But it performed exactly as advertised and I would repurchase if need arises.
