Customer Support Is Great.

After a month of running the unit normally, it began to indicate that the bucket was full. However, it was only 1/4 full. This would happen constantly. I called customer service and they were able to arrange for me to get a replacement. thank you.

Quiet and Efficient Dehumidifier

When my old Frigidaire dehumidifier died of old age, I immediately bought a new one similar to my old unit. I did this because the old one performed quietly and efficiently throughout its life. My new one has now been through a summer of keeping my entire lower level at 40% humidity, just where I set it. It works very quietly and does the job. What more could anyone want?!

I have this in the basement to help dry our damp wall. It also dries the laundry that can't go in the dryer that my wife hangs on the line down there. Keeps the wall dry and any clothing dries over night.

It's just what I needed !!

This unit is a workhorse !! It works perfectly- using it in a damp basement that is finally all dried out thanks to this guy. It ran almost constantly for 3 months, now it only cycles on periodically. Didn't realize the basement was that damp until I started using this. A few previous reviewers felt the bucket was a bit tricky to slide in and out but I found it to be a snap. Nice features, easy to use, good quality. This was my first dehumidifier purchase and I am extremely pleased with it's performance and am glad I chose wisely. In my opinion the only downside is that the fan noise is pretty noticeable, so when it runs continuously you know it is there ! I don't live much down in my basement so the noise wasn't an issue for me.

Runs constantly

Unit works well but the fan never shuts off. Setting the timer by the manual is confusing and does not seem to do anything. If the fan would shut off with the compressor, it would be a lot cheaper to operate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
