[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and brought it home. Made horrible noise and did not remove moisture. Returned and replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking at refrigerators when I purchased this dehumidifier. Lot of features. Particularly like the window strip with the red depth indicator on the water collector. Controls are intuitive with plenty of setting options. Somewhat quiet for a dehumidifier. Seems to be very efficient. I've not fooled with the filter yet but I am glad to know that it has one,
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dehumidifier for my basement about a month ago and can not believe how much water it takes from the area! The first few weeks I was emptying it myself because I was interested to see how much moisture it was removing. The tank was almost full every day. Shuts off automatically when tank is full, easy to empty and replace the water tank, the filter is easy to rinse clean. It is now hooked up to drain automatically. It is not very noisy when running but since it is in the
basement that would not be an issue for me.

The Beast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third humidifier by different manufactures. The Frigidaire Humidifier is a beast. It’s very quite and efficient. I’m emptying the bucket 3-5 times a day, I’ve never had any other work this well. That’s why I’m calling it the beast. For a small humidifier it works like a giant, worth every penny. This will be my forever humidifier. The others don’t come close to this one. Happy customer! I’m glad I bought the Frigidaire, so will you.

The water reaper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Frigidaire 70 qt dehumidifier I’ve purchased. The first two were always drained into a sink. This third one was hooked to a pumping unit which emptied into a five gallon bucket. This unit just about fills the bucket daily. I have bought 70 qt dehumidifiers for four times the price and they only did 1/2 a bucket daily.
I would recommend this dehumidifier.

Performs as Described

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dehumidifier in May for use in a large finished basement. It has been running continually since then, set to 50% and using the continuous drain option. The dehumidifier cycles on and off to keep the humidity close to 50% (based on a separate humidistat). A fan placed at the other end of the basement, used in conjunction with an electric timer, circulates the air so that a single dehumidifier covers the whole basement.
