Best feature is the continuous drainage

I boughf this a fee months ago for my VERY damp basement, it has made such s tremendous difference down there its amazing, if i had known this I would have bought kne a LONG time ago. Iam very pleased with the dehumidifier and the improvement in mu basement, I truly am!

We bought this dehumidifier after the other one we were using was recalled. It was a different brand. This unit is quiet and very easy to empty. Very satisfied with this product.

Purchased 6 months ago.
Works great!
Bucket is sturdy and well designed for emptying. I empty twice a day.
Too loud to put in same room as TV, but in another room, it is fine.
No notable increase in my electric bill. My old one cost $20 a month to run.
Only complaint is that the top to the collection bucket does not come off for cleaning. I did not put a bactericide in the bucket and got growth over time (always happens to me) and could not clean.
Great customer service - they sent me a new bucket!
Highly recommend.

Getting the job done, but watch that electric bill

Have had issues with our basement for the 10+ years that we've been in this house. A couple of years ago, had a drainage system installed, but still had significant dampness. Ran a DH in the past, but always had issues with the bucket filling up too fast. The drain option on this model addressed that, although we did have to buy a separate hose, and it was a bit of a pain to install. Had to fool around with the position of the unit and the length of the hose, because if would not drain through the slightest little uphill bend or kink in the hose. Once we got the "kinks" worked out, the basement is noticeably better. Humidity dropped from 75+ to a steady 45-50%. Read warnings about how much electric these units use - all of them , not just this one - and I guess I didn't really believe them (or care). But we're definitely looking at $40-50 month increase. Yikes!

Great Product, Easy to use

I bought this a few months ago, over the summer and it has helped my basement tremendously. I no longer get that moldy smell. The product itself is easy to use, the book details everything well. We were able to hook a hose up to it to empty the excess water into our sump pump hole which is so convenient.

Very Reliable

I bought this dehumidifier over four months ago for my basement and it has been doing an excellent job. It has removed the musty smell and keeps the area free of mildew. It is relatively quiet and the humidity control is quite accurate.
I would recommend this to a friend!
