Efficient and easy to operate!

We bought this unit during a rainy summer. It consistently kept our basement at a comfortable humidity level. We had no mold, mildew, or musty smell in our basement for such a damp season.

Great machine, but must be on level surface!

I purchased the Frigidaire humidifier due to a kitchen drain pipe having broken and leaked into our basement, which resulted in a large puddle that I wished to dry out completely. Once the puddle was wiped up and the pipe repaired, I set up the humidifier pursuant to all the directions. However, there is one very important direction that must be adhered to - that the humidifier needs to be on a completely level surface. My basement floor is "mostly" level, but after 24 hours of running this machine on continuous, it had slid a little bit out of alignment and was sitting just barely cockeyed. I went down to the basement to find a puddle on the floor which had obviously leaked out of the bottom backside of the machine. After Googling some solutions online, I found some reviews stating that people had had leaking problems from the bottom backside of their machines, which had me worried that I bought a dud. However, I thought I'd give the machine another shot and placed it on a large piece of wood that I proceeded to shimmy to level out completely. I haven't had a single problem since. I wanted to review this only for anybody who has had a leaking problem with this machine in order to let them know that leveling the machine out worked for me in resolving that problem.

Fantastic / Reliable Dehumidifier!

I live in southern FL and need constant dehumidification for my home to keep the closet humidity below 50%. I have owned two of these units that run 24 / 7 and am constantly amazed at the amount of water that they pull out of the air. Compact, efficient, and reliable ... how can you beat that!

Clean up made easier!

Returning from vacation I discovered a leaky water line to my ice maker had made a wet mess in the basement, my new humidifier was able to dry everything up without the expense of. Hiring an outside company. Thank you for a great product.

The maintenance is easy & convenient. Removal of the filter and cleaning is a snap. The unit collected 70 pints within eight hours. My arthritis feels better with the lower humidity.
