Great Dehumidifier

My basement was at 70% humidity and smelled like mold. This unit did a great job getting my basement to 35% in no time. No more smell.

Quietest Dehumidifier Ever

I've used this dehumifier for one entire Wisconsin spring, summer and fall dehumidifying season and it's been perfect. Tried others and all unacceptably noisy. Also need to say that this is my second Frigidaire dehumidifier. Last one failed shortly before the end of the warranty. Super service from Frigidaire - gave full refund which I used to buy a new one. Wouldn't consider any other company.

Good Units

Purchased one of these as in Arkansas we love humidity. This piece of equipment almost ran non stop for the first week. Now instead of having humidity in my house in the upper sixties it stays in the mid forties. I was so pleased I purchased a second one just in case and set it up in the other side of the house. Only one slight issue if you set it at 60 it keeps it around 50 but that is no biggie to me at all.

Hands-Off Operation

I bought this model after consulting Consumer Reports and ConsumerSearch.com for reviews of dehumidifiers. I was looking for one that could handle my 1600 sq. ft. crawl space, and 70 pint was the largest I could find in this price range with this high of a rating. I'm working on sealing up the crawl space entrance and vents because so far the unit runs non-stop and only achieves as low as 60% humidity.

IVE HAD THIS UNIT ABOUT 3 MONTHS. WORKS WELL BUT NOT SURE WHY ITS SO LOUD. HOPING ITS NOT ON THE VERGE OF BREAKING DOWN. MY LAST 2 FRIGIDAIRE DEHUMIDIFIERS BROKE ABOUT 3 YEARS IN.
