Solid performer

I bought this 2 months ago to replace the same model that failed after over 6 years of use. The last one was also a solid performer that just worked. The only negative, which I think is true of many of dehumidifiers of this and other brands, is that the displayed humidity is very inaccurate so you have to adjust the setting accordingly. In my case, it was reading 55% relative humidity when two different guages said it was 42%. So I would just set it to 55% to essentially hold the humidity at around 40-45%, which is what I desired. Had I trusted the display on the unit, I would have set it to 40% or 45% and it would have run wayyy more than needed.
This model also moved the hose connection point to the outside back compared to the old one which connected inside above the bucket. I'm not sure it makes much difference, though I do think there's less chance the hose can kink now.

Gets out lots of water

I am glad I bought this size because it fills up fast with all of the humidity in my basement. It is a little loud, but works very well.

Nice dehumidifier

I bought this to replace an older humidifier. Right away I was happy with the design of this new product.
The water tank is easy to remove and drain. My old dehumidifier tank was VERY difficult to pull out.
The filter on this new unit is easy to remove and clean, located on the front. There is no venting on the back also so you can position this unit close to wall if needed. The water level in the tank is easy to see with the red float in the sight glass. Controls are simple to operate also. So far after two months of use I am pleased with the unit.

Exactly what we needed!!!

We had a major moisture problem on upper level of our split level over the winter; a lot of condensation on the windows.
We plan on getting the air exchanger to help with the issue for the coming winter however it has been great.
It is quiet, you can see how much water it takes out and kind of funny I am use to the sound of it now. lol. Have had it since January and it has been great, no problems.

What a surprise!

I had a store brand dehumidifier previously which ran for about a year and then quit. This one is a real surprise and immeasurably better. When the compressor is on, all you hear is the sound of the fan - no vibration, no humming, just the white noise of rushing air. The 70-pint container fills in nearly a day in our basement showing that it's doing its job. Great buy. Would highly recommend.
