Works just as promised

Purchased this to replace one that quit last winter. My basement had started drawing moisture, and this dehumidifier has brought it back under control.

This is a great unit!

I have a large basement 1,300 square feet and have always had a dehumidifier. I was always disappointed with the quality of the prior units that we had owned and looked a several alternatives. I saw this unit and read the reviews and was very impressed. It also did not hurt that my parents owned a Frigidaire refrigerator that lasted forever! This unit is a real workhorse. It is the ONLY unit to ever get the humidity level where I want it 50%! The unit is quite and it is very well built. I would recommend this size unit for basements like mine since you will be surprised how fast the unit works. I am looking forward to many years of dry basement service!

Tremendous Dehumidifier & Great Features

I did a lot of research before buying this unit. All roads lead to Frigidaire. I debated which size to buy, and I'm glad I bought the bigger 70 pint unit. We have an older house with unfinished basement with cinder block walls. It's always damp. I also bought a temperature and humidity gauge and found it was 60-70 percent humidity. When we plugged in the unit the bucket was full the next morning. We then dumped out 2-3 buckets a day for a few days! I had a plumber install a piece of PVC with a fitting on our slop sink drain so we could attach a hose to the unit. Now it just runs and drains on its own. Now the humidity stays around 45% and the unit turns on and off by itself. Our basement is now the driest place in the house!

Let me start by saying that I have been through several dehumidifiers in my 36 years of being a homeowner.
Most of the dehumidifiers were off brands and only lasted a few years. Some would develope problems like freezing up or they would have to run constantly to remove the desired amount of humidity.
I finally bought a name brand dehumidifier and boy was I glad I did. The features that this model came with were reason alone to step it up to a Frigidaire, but the overall performance is what really sold me. This unit produced enough water that I had to empty it twice a day. I just recently decided to use the hose attachment feature to save me trips to the basement.
This Frigidaire dehumidifier is also very quiet compared to other dehumidifiers.
I recently purchased another Frigidaire dehumidifier ( same model) for my mother in law and she also loves it!!
I originally purchased my dehumidifier based on all the good reviews so here is another one. Great product!!!

sucking lots of water out of the basement air

happy with how many times I'm emptying the reservoir. I'll probably figure out a way to hook up the hose drain out the wall to make it easier.

Quality product

I purchased this dehumidifier to replace an older unit that was on it's last leg. So far the operation has been flawless and it's keeping the basement humidity level in the comfort zone. It's much quieter and more energy efficient than the old model and I expect to receive many years of service from this product.

Frigidaire Dehumidifier

This unit replaces another manufacturer's model that failed after less than 3 years. The Frigidaire unit is doing a good job removing excess humidity and runs much quieter
