[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier takes more water out of our basement in a day than our old one did in a month. It is extremely efficient and runs quietly. The option to either run a hose from the back fitting or empty manually is a nice option. If emptying manually, the handle on the water container allows for easy removal. This dehumidifier was a great purchase. Very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're using the dehumidifier to 'clear the air' in the 300 sf basement storage area of the condo we moved into a few months ago. It is quiet, efficient and makes the room feel less 'moist' -- which is what we hoped for. The water tray fills up and is a pain to empty but worth the effort to preserve our important 'stuff' like family photos, artwork, documents that we don't have room for in the condo.

Works great but buy the extended warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this in our basement and it runs continuously. While it works well, it does not seem to last much longer than a year or two. We bought the extended warranty last time after the previous one failed after the included warranty period and we were out of luck. The next one worked for over a year and then started icing over on the back of the unit. Since we had the extended warranty plan from Best Buy, they replaced it no questions asked. In our experience, having also tried a more expensive model in the past, no dehumidifier is going to last indefinitely, so go with this affordable model and buy the extended warranty plan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really gets the job done! My only complaint is that it puts out warm air. For Winter that will be nice, Summer not so much. But it does a great job of getting excessive moisturizer out of the air.
