Does the trick

I bought this for a moderately damp basement. It dried it out quickly and is found exactly what I need it to do. The bucket could be a little bigger, but that's the only complaint I have.

Love my Dehumidifier!

I love my Frigidaire Dehumidifier - it's efficient, quiet and effective at pulling the moisture out of the air, which is important when you are living in Florida with high humidity. I have had other dehumidifier's in the past, but this one is by far my favorite.

I bought this item to keep the dampness out of my basement. It is doing a nice job of it, without throwing off a bunch of heat. My basmenet is still cool for the summer without being overly humid. The true test is to see if this one conks out just after warranty like every other dehumidifier I've bought over the last 18 years.

removes large quantities of water

i think the compressor stops when the humidity set point i reached, but the fan continues to run.

Workhorse of a dehumidifire

This is a nice looking unit that works great.
I have it in my basement the humidity level according to the readout on this unit can be as high as 65%. This unit has gotten it down to 45-50%, the bucket needs to be emptied 3-4 times a day depending on the changing humidity in the basement. The fan runs continuously the unit's compressor switches on and off as it reaches the preset desired humidity level. The fan helps move the dehumidified air around the basement. It was a good purchase.
