Bought this a couple of months ago love it I am in a very damp basement this keep the moisture down to an acceptable level

Bought as a replacement for another brand which had to go for service under a 5 year extended warranty.
Read good reviews on this unit. Fan is a little noisy but fine in my basement.
FAD704DWD Works good. Shuts on and off as required by humidity.
Owned a previous frigidaire unit I had good luck with. Maybe 3-4 years.
I wish all dehumidifiers were built to last longer. Seems like they are throw away items. Not like older units we had as kids that never got replaced or just needed a new dial humidistat.

Fine machine!

I bought this dehumidifier several months ago to eliminate the musty smell that occurs when the air conditioner is not yet needed. This machine has done a wonderful job in controlling the humidity levels. During the summer, I usually turn it on during the morning hours (setting around 45). Once the A/C turns on, I can turn the dehumidifier off for the rest of the day since the a/c also acts as a dehumidifier. It will also be very nice to have during the late fall. I really controls the humidity very well.

This dehumidifier works very well. I rapidly takes the humidity from the air and runs very quietly. I highly recommend the purchase of this dehumidifier.

First time dehumidifier user/buyer

I bought this unit about a month ago to remove extra moisture from my basement after a pipe broke. Normally, my heat pump keeps the humidity at a good level winter or summer. Nice to have the feature to drain constantly into the house drain.
I would recommend this to a friend!
