70 pint?????OVER RATED

Started the unit on 6-11-16 at 50% humidity. Today 7-13-16 it's down to a reading of 42%. This unit has been running continually since it was started. Not what I would call good performing. In years past another unit took the humidity down to 30% or lower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have you noticed if your dehumidifier is still removing moisture from the air and collecting water in the bucket? Is there sufficient clearance around your dehumidifier to operate? Superior quality, great dehumidifier!

Our basement was damp and smelly and awful. When we entered the house, that terrible heavy wet smell came up from the basement and nearly knocked us down. Then we plugged in this dehumidifier and almost instantly the air cleared. Within an hour we could tell a big difference and 24 hours later, the air was sweet and clean and dry. Two months later, the dehumidifier continues to work like a champ (easy to maintain, too) and we love it so much, we don't know how we ever got along without it. Wonderful product!!!

Getting the Job Done

Easy to set up and get running! We replaced a piece of junk, and I was hoping that we would get our money's worth with this product. The filter is easy to clean, and the fan is more than strong enough to cycle our basement.
