Great dehumidifier!

I'm ecstatic for having purchased this dehumidifier. I wondered if I really needed one but now that my basement is noticeably drier, I know I made the right decision. The 70 pint capacity is a tad heavier to empty than I anticipated but it sure came in handy the first few days. This was the first dehumidifier in the basement and it really captured the moisture right away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Working good so far

This unit is working good so far. I have have two units from another manufacturer the previous years that only lasted one year each when I went to use them the next year. Hopefully this make and model lasts longer than that. It seems to be a solid unit thus far. I'll return next year for an update if required to provide an update.

Works Great!!!

We bought this to help reduce the amount of moisture in the air on the second floor of our home and in two days it had removed enough moisture even with our bed room door closed that the master bath door frame which had swelled so much we no longer could shut the door was back to normal. The carpets no longer had the damp sweaty/sticky feel to them that makes you want to cringe, and the musty wet smell was also finally gone. Added bonus our A/C are not having to work as hard too. With all the added moisture removed from the air it actually feels comfortable upstairs all hours of the day.
My only complaint and suggestion is on the user manual they really need to say the unit must be elevated in order for the hose attachment to drain properly we originally had it on the floor with the hose running to the tube, and nothing so I dug out a night stand that was no longer being used and set the unit on it and now works beautifully!

Works very well

This replaced a 5 year old version (earlier model) and seems to work better. I use a hose drain, and the angled drain connection in the past clearly works better than the previous model. Able to keep fairly consistent humidity levels between 62-65%, which is the setting I selected. Very satisfied - hope it lasts like the last one.
