I bought this dehumidifier to replace the exact same model that was only two years and stopped working. The company stood behind their product and paid the replacement cost. The humidifier had worked so well I decided to replace it with the same model.

Easy to use and work well

Actually I bought two, one for standing alone usage in the basement family room, the other one for workroom with connection to the drainage pipe. They are both easy to install and use. They work really well, keep humidity around 50%, down from 70% within a day or two.

Working well so far

Mine has been in operation for 7 weeks so far. It does a great job keeping my large basement less humid. Its easy to set and I highly recommend just hooking up a drain hose rather than messing with the tank. With a hose connected you can set it and forget it so it will just run to maintain the humidity level you set.

Running great

We've had trouble keeping a dehumidifier going in my shop. This one has started out well. We are cautiously optimistic that we can get more than one season out of it. Bought the extended warranty (which we NEVER do) just in case.

I recently purchased the Frigidaire - FAD704DWD to replace an older model that had died out. In the short time since purchasing and setting up this unit I have noticed that my basement is much cleaner (air quality wise) and definitely a lot less smelly! The display on the top of the model is great for letting the user know the % of humidity in the designated area(s). I would highly recommend this unit for anyone looking to lessen the humidity of their basement or any room that requires a dehumidifier and doesn't want to spring for a more pricey whole house unit!
