It seems to be functioning properly therefore it's doing the job it's supposed to do with no glitches so far. It is quieter than another brand (which failed) it replaces.

I have been using the fridgedaire dehumidifier in our basement all summer long leaving the home with cleaner air quality. The cost of the appliance was reasonable and the model very efficient for our entire basement. I hope to purchase another one for upstairs.

This is the 2nd one i bought. I need 2 in my basement. I had nought a cheaper one and 3 yrs later im buying a frigidaire to match the other one thats still running.

I researched extensively and determined that this was a great buy. I'm not the least dissapointed.

My basement was always damp & smelled musty. Since we got the humidifier the basement is dry & the smell is gone!

This was my first experience with a dehumidifier. It was for the basement where there was a problem with corroding furnaces due to high moisture levels in the basement. Literature suggestions for the right size dehumidifier indicated that my basement size required a large capacity dehumidifier. Setting it up, per the directions, was simple. Basement humidity was 76%. The dehumidifier was set at 50%. I was dumping 6 gallons of water from the dehumidifier per day. After the required number of days for the dehumidifier to equilibrate with the basement, a drain-hose was added for convenience. After two weeks operation, basement humidity was holding at 50%. I am very pleased with this dehumidifier and the instructions that come with it.
