Been using this dehumid for a little over a month now, and it seems to be working great. It is alot more quiet than the other brands I've had. It really takes the moisture out of the air. The external hookup for the continuous drainage is a great idea, very easy to get to. So far so good!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Removes moisture fast

I bought a home in the spring and immediately noticed a musty smell starting beginning of summer. After two days of the dehumidifier running, the smell and sticky feel was gone. I chose to have the unit drain directly into a floor drain so I'm not sure how much water is being taken from the air. After about two months, I did notice the noise increase a bit, but the unit in general is pretty quite.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ist summer with it already having issues

Freezes up and now gives error code for wrong power input or temperature is too low or too high. All of these are fine, but the dehumidifier doesn't think so
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bigger is better

Needed a new dehumidifier for my basement. Checked them out before I purchased and am glad I did. My basement is dry with absolutely no odors. The only thing is wished it had is a shut off when the appropriate humidity level is reached.
