Working Well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the dehumidifier for my basement and it has been working well. At first, I was using the bucket for the water that was being removed. It was filling up a couple times a day and the auto shut off was turning it off. That is a good feature but it was a problem for me. I set it up with a hose from the built in hose connection and ran it to the installed condensate pump next to my installed heating/AC unit. I set the humidity level per the instructions, turned it on and it has been working as stated. It is left up to you where to set your humidity level. I personally didn't know what humidity level should be. I found out that mold can/will grow if the humidity is at 70 or above. Then I also read that a good level would be between 30 - 60. I set mine at 60 so I wouldn't work my humidifier to hard and that has been fine for my situation. I've only had it a few months and just hope it will last for a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this dehumidifier! It is much more quiet than other brands and I love that you can hook a hose up to it so it can run continuously. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 1 month I am happy with the purchase. The only thing is that it warms up my basement more than a different brand I had before but less than the newer replacement model that I purchased earlier this year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had two Frigidaire 50-pint models fail while still covered by their factory warranty, I decided to try my luck with their 70-pint model. So far, so good .... but I've only had it for two weeks. I remain with Frigidaire because of their excellent warranty. But it will be interesting to see if this unit still works a year or two from now.
