[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the product about a month back for my large basement, works as described and bought the moisture level to low 50s and high 40s. The only thing is it's consuming lots of electricity, my bill almost doubled since I started using it, my neighbor also mentioned the same,hence 4 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features; love large water tank

Thank you for choosing to be part of the extended Frigidaire family, The good Dr. It is very typical for your unit to be warm to touch when in use. This is an appliance that is pulling moisture from the room’s air that requires both a compressor and fan to run quite often. It is also normal that the unit “puts off hot air” from the ventilation louvers. It is recommended that the room have air circulating (ceiling fans or ac unit) and sufficient space around the unit to prevent too much warm air staying in one place. If you believe the unit has been running hot for too long, unplug it for 1-2 hours to let it cool down, and retry again at a higher humidity RH% level in hopes to not over work the appliance.
