Reliable dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dehumidifier at a higher cost than other models because my previous 70 pint Frigidaire lasted over nine years. This one is a little noisier than the previous model but it gets the job done. We use it in a large basement and it always feels very comfortable with no feeling of humidity. We keep it set on 65%.

Very Pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this during a heat spell where the humidity in my house was at 80 percent. Within a day it decreased the humidity level to 55 percent. The fan is a little loud but is an easy thing to overlook for comfort.

Doesn't Work Out of the Box

Bought this 1st of April (2015) and didn't have a chance to set it up until 1st of May. Didn't work from day 1. Set humidity for 65% and unit clicks one for 2-3 secs and then clicks off. It does this about every 45 min. Can run it on continuous but it whines and who want to run something continuously!?! Piece of junk. I'd give it a half star but can't do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had a the dehumidifier we bought less than a year ago. It had a defect. Frigidaire looked over the information I sent them and did not hesitate to replace it with this model.
Their customer service is terrific and the product works flawlessly in our rather large, very damp basement.

Keeps humidity level at a constant level. Easy hook up to hose. Easy controls. Shuts off when humidity level is met. Have it in a large basement. My rating might go up if it lasts longer than my 2 previous dehumidifiers!
