[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been very happy with the performance of this dehumidifier. Very easy to clean the filter, option of draining into floor drain and efficiently removed the humidity from the air. It is a little noisy but mostly just the sound of air moving.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago. I can't even imagine how much moisture was down in my basement. I empty the "bucket" daily. And for the first time, the floor is drying out. There use to be a huge moist(?) stain on the floor which I thought was permanent. It has disappeared.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solved our humidity problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It completely eliminated the humidity problem we had in our entire basement, even though we placed it in our mechanical room behind a closed door. We connected the hose for convenience, and water drips out of it continuously. It would be nice if the fan were a little quieter. It's not excessively loud for a dehumidifier, but you wouldn't want to sleep near it in your bedroom either. It's a great product.

Modern, sleek, plastic unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire does the job — I think. The display flashes between the setting you choose and the actual humidity in the room. The fan is quiet which is a plus. Cons: The indicator light is so small it is impossible to see unless you are standing directly in front of the unit. The collection tank is difficult to remove and then replace (hard plastic sliding along hard plastic — molded plastic would have been a better choice). Dumping the water is relatively easy, but it tends to pour out from all directions when tipped to 45º to empty completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this unit for over a month and it does exactly what we had hoped. It pulls a LOT of water out of the air in a short time. We use it in our office. I wouldn't want it in a bedroom or living room because it makes a good bit of noise, but it is "white noise" from the fan. Also, we use it at a high setting, which is of course the loudest.
I would recommend this to a friend!
