[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product in June when humidity in my basement was nearly 70% and mold was forming on some of our stored canned goods. In a couple of days the humidity had dropped into the 50's and within a week was in the 40's. The humidifier has worked well this summer without any problem.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it a while ago. Just plug it in , set desired humidity level and it's all done. When the collecting bucket gets full, the overflow switch turns it off, so I don't have to worry about any spills.

Works great and is quiet

Quiet unit, reliability concerns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second unit, the first having died just a week before the warranty expired. It is quiet and effective, but I am concerned with its prospects for long term reliability. It sometimes has the fan kick on and off when the sensor thinks it is humid enough to start. As soon as the fan pulls fresh air in it decides it isn't so humid after all and turns off. This cycle can repeat over and over again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing your feedback, JD123. Your dehumidifier is operating correctly. When the unit is running for a few seconds and then turns back off, that’s the fan making sure that the unit is running at the correct temperature that you have it set to. Also, you will notice that when the fan is cycling on that way, you will see the relative humidity percentage increase 5% and then go back to the current humidity setting.
