Quiet and efficient

I have owned the unit four months and have it in my finished basement. It keeps the 1800 square foot area dry. It is vey quiet and works efficiently.

Never Stops Filling The Tank

This unit produces a lot of heat and even set at 50% humidity it never stops pulling moisture from the air. I continue to have to empty the tank even thought the humidity level in my home is down to 38%. Will be returning since my electric bill has jumped 100.00 since we stated using it. Perhaps I just got a defective product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Monumental failure

Fails in these ways: almost no water collects in the container; the hose attachment does not work (no water comes out the hose bib); what water is extracted from the air is discharged out the bottom of the unit, thus on the floor of the house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yikes! Regretfully thomasb, my research using your email address was unable to locate any recent contact, or service request, pertaining to your matter. To address the machine leaking, please double check that the dehumidifier is not installed on a declined surface or tilted in any way. The threading on the drain connection can wear down and cause a loose connection. You can try to remedy the loose connection with plumber tape. The drainage hose may need cleaning out, as you stated no water is coming out of it. So that we are able to gain more insight, and assist you properly, we request that you reconnect with us directly for assistance by calling Mon-Fri, 8a-8p or Saturday 9a-6p EST @ 800-724-7519.
