Working fine, for now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been running the unit for a couple of weeks with no problem. Humidity is down at this time of year, so the unit isn't running much.
My experience is that it will last about a year and die. This unit is a replacement of a similar unit that failed in nine months. That is about the typical life time of the recent units I've purchased, bot Frigidaire and other manufacturers. (Probably all made in the same factory in China.)

Works perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this two months ago and it has been running everyday since. We moved into a house and the basement had a moldy odor and was freezing cold even in the hot summer! We turned it on. After only 2 hours, I checked it to make sure it was working. The bucket was already almost full! The basement already felt noticeably more comfortable and the odor was almost gone! Now we have it set to 50%, so it turns itself on and off throughout the day. We have to empty the bucket about every 24 hours, which is fine! There is now no odor in the basement and everything is perfectly dry. Features that we like: you can set the humidity percentage and it automatically cycles on and off, the bucket is easy to carry because it has a handle on top, the filter rinses easily with water, it isn't too ugly, and you can hook a hose up to it if you prefer. The only thing I would change is to make it quieter. It isn't too bad; we just turn it off when we watch tv. We are so happy we purchased this, and have been very happy with it for two months.

Awesome relief

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great. It removes the humidity from the air and relieves my allergies! After we got so much moisture from the flood it took a tremendous amount of water out of the air! We emptied it often ! 3 or 4 times a day
