Does the job!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago, I purchased this Frigidaire dehumidifier for the basement on the non finished side of the house. Absolutely loved it! Keeps perfect levels of humidity and has never let us down. Now we are going to try to finish the other side of the basement and have decided to purchase the exact same one for that side. Now the first one doesn’t need to work so hard! The whole house feels less humid, especially in this unusually hot summer! Absolutely love the Frigidaire’s!!

Great for Small homes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumifier for my kitchen. My gas stove was producing a lot of heat in my kitchen creating a lot of moisture. Since I placed this my kitchen the temperature when cooking has been awesome.

just plugged it in yesterday and within maybe 5 hours my bucket was full. so it is doing it's job, I just ordered a hose for it since I forget to check on it and it was full again today!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not so great

I thought I bought a good unit. I paid top dollar for it, but it's not so great. The name says "70 pint capacity" but in reality the tank is so small, only 16 pints, that means you have to empty every few hours, and if you are gone for the day, then this system is not working until you get back home and empty. I had another brand that had much larger water tank. The noise, it not quite as advertised, it is loud even on the low fan setting. So, overall, not the great product I expected for the price!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for an office and even with it in the far corner of the office and the fan on low, it's too noisy. I may have to run it just at night.
