Broke after 2 years

Purchased 11/2016, worked for two seasons, Doesn't dehumidify any longer. Compressor seems to run so I am guessing the refrigerant leaked out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this several weeks ago after my wife told me she thought our finished basement of 1800 square feet was smelling a little musty. It is easy to use with the features it has and really made a difference in our basement. Have not determined how energy efficient it is yet as it does seem to run a lot for being energy star rated.

Does what it's supposed to do without my attention

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like appliances I have to think about, I want them to do the job they were designed for and not require my attention. This dehumidifier does exactly what it's supposed to do, it keeps the humidity under control in my basement, turns itself off when it's appropriate and just works. It's quite and does not take too much energy. I'm satisfied and don't have to think about it or worry because it just works.

Has gotten the job done so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new house and found water issues from a backup. Bought this to dry out the basement and it seems to be doing a great job so far. We have a pretty small house but this works for us.
