[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after Hurricane Matthew put 14" of water in my downstairs room. I needed to get this area dried out fast! I plugged it in and it ran without fail for over 3 weeks! Thankfully, all is back to normal. Thanks Frigidaire!

Quiet and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit back in October for the basement and what a difference! Couldn't be happier! Love that it shuts off automatically when desired humidity level is achieved. Does not freeze up like my previous humidifier. Also like that it has a light that reminds you to clean the filter.

Good dehumidifier, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the fourth Fad704DWD dehumidifier. The first was recalled as a fire hazard. Since I had it for a number of years, I was reimbursed about half of it's cost. The second stopped working after about 11 months. It was still under the original warranty and therefore reimbursed the full amount. The two that I have in my basement are both recently purchased and are, so far working well. Bottom line, when it's working, it does a very good job.
I would recommend this to a friend!
