Disappointing moisture removal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement to an earlier version which extracted moisture very effectively and promptly. This one, on the other hand, takes a lot longer to extract the same amount.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works flawlessly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it as a replacement for a recalled dehumidifier (which in our experience, also worked well). Hooked a hose to it and "forgot it". Basement is comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dehumidifier for my basement. It does a wonderful job. I only have one complaint. The drawer (well that's what I call it) that you need to empty, is a PAIN to get back in. It doesn't slide smoothly at all. I am always fighting with it to get it back into the unit. Yes I could hook it up with a hose so that the issue of taking it in and out would be eliminated but I like to use the water in the washing machine.

Didn't last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the unit 18 months ago and it shuts down as soon as it starts running and gives an EC error code very disappointed. It seemed like a great unit at first. I got 5 years out of a harborfreight unit I figured i would get 10 out of ths one. I was wrong.

Oh Wow Ze1998us! I hate that you are disappointed with your purchase. Typically, an “EC” message is dealing with the operating conditions. The outlet voltage should be 115V±10% and the surrounding temperature should be within the range of 41 °F to 96 °F. You would want to unplug the unit and plug it in again under normal operating conditions. I hope this helps! Respectfully- CiCi
