A Great Workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After six years of constant use in a high humidity environment, my 50 pint Frigidaire dehumidifier (FAD504) finally gave out! Being completely satified with service it provided, I recently replaced it with a Model FAD704 which is now operating with the same excellent results. And it is SUPER QUITE!

Solid Choice

Works Great but not long term

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give this 5 stars but it is a replacement of the same unit that conked out after about 18 months (it is only used in the summer). I loved the old unit but it kept showing an "EC" error. I was unable to fix it myself and it wasn't worth sending in for repair. With that said it worked a lot of hours for about 5 months last year and 2 months this year. It did the job while working so this time I bought the extended warranty so when it quits I won't be out shopping for a new one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit just over a month ago and I am very pleased with its performance. I installed it in my crawl space, where I had several spots of mold cropping up. We put down a new vapor barrier, closed all the vents and turned on the frigidaire dehumidifier. Within hours you could tell a huge difference. The air outside hot and muggy, in the crawl space comfortably cool. Now a month later all the little spots of mold are gone. I could not be happier.

We bought this to keep an add-on on-grade room from becoming so humid and it does that. The room is a little over 320 square feet, we elevated the dehumidifier and ran a hose out to the flower bed. The unit was on continuous cycle for a couple of days but now we have it set for approximately 50% humidity and the unit cycles on and off to keep it there.
