[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a couple of months ago for use in my Mother's large basement, and am very well pleased with the performance so far. I especially appreciate using the "continuous drain" option, to alleviate the constant need for the water bucket to be emptied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this dehumidifier for about 3 weeks now. It operates quietly and efficiently. Controls are simple to use; filter is easy to remove and clean; easily moved when necessary, but light enough for an elderly person to handle. Pleased with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a approximately 1800 sq.ft basement. Started out with 80% humidity. Took about two and a half weeks to bring it down to 60%. After another week and a half, got it down to 56%. I have it set for 50%, humidity creeped back up to 58%.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Yikes! John 3, I am glad to hear the dehumidifier is helping to decrease the moisture level in your basement. Selecting the continuous setting provides the maximum dryness (typically the lowest letting will be 35%). Based on your statement that the basement is 1800 square feet and the humidity level was 80%, to reach the humidity level you want (50%), you might wish to consider an additional dehumidifier.
