[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier works well but the humidly Gage on the humidifier is not accurate. I have it set on 45% and it shuts off but my gage on the shelve reads 80%. It is 35% off from being correct. The handle to pull the water tank out to empty it needs to be stronger than plastic. I already broke the handle the screws pulled out of plastic. Other then that, the item works great.

After our first FAD704DWD was recalled (and we were reimbursed generously), we bought a second one, since the first had operated so well. We are just as pleased with the way this version draws water from the air. The bucket is easy to empty. We would definitely buy another Frigidaire 70 pt dehumidifier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Consumer Reports rated this machine highly and our experience bears that out. We put two of these units in our condo building basement (near the ocean in Rhode Island and usually damp). They dried the place out completely in less than 2 days. Very happy with these machines.
