works better than I thought it would

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] quiet, easy to set up and clean. very easy to empty the tank and I like the automatic thermostat that shuts off when the humidity reaches the % I set it to and then turns back on when it gets too high.

Unique continuous drain bucket bypass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dehumidifier based on high ranking in Consumer Reports. It has performed better than expected. I use a continuous drain and the unique feature of this dehumidifier is that the direct drain connection is up midway in back so that hose does not crimp and more important, by passes drain bucket so that you never have to be concerned with mold other growths in a constantly full bucket. The bucket stays dry for those using the continuous drain. I like the digital readout for both actual humidity and set point humidity. Only negative (in my opinion) is that the blower operates continuously. The blower runs continuously - that is, it does not stop when set point is reached, only the refrigeration compressor cycles of and on as needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
