Working as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have operated the dehumidifier for about 3 weeks with no issues. Basement is much drier. The dehumidifier is relatively quiet compared to others I had over the years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one of this model. I use them in different parts of house. Seems to be very good. Only issue is it produces a fair amount of heat in the sealed off area where it is used.

Easy to Empty

Freezes up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first month it was fine. Since then it freezes up inside and ices up. I have tried to swap it it for a new one. Let me know if I can still do this.

Hey Pratikpatel4, thank you for taking the time to share your situation with us. The evaporator on the back of the dehumidifier is made up of coils that get very cold while the unit runs. The moist air from the room is drawn across those coils by the fan so that the humidity in the air condenses. If the air temperature is too cold, the condensation will freeze. You may want to unplug and turn the unit off for several hours or turn a heat source on in the room as the temperature may have dropped below 41ºF. Hope this helps!
