I loved theFrigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier, and it ran for about 9 months with no problems...and then it stopped working!

Failed after several months of occasional use. Received a full refund, and would never consider the Frigidaire brand for any appliance given the reliability of the dehumidifier.

I am extremely pleased with the functionality of this dehumidifier. it efficiently keeps my basement dry, and free from musty odors and mold. The unit is not excessively loud, and utilizing the direct drain feature is terrific. Indeed, I would highly recommend this product.

This is my first dehumidifier ever and must tell it's awesome!
In my room it gets humid in winter, the walls start "sweating" and sometimes there's a black stain on them, I learned lately that the stain is actually mold that can be very dangerous for one's health.
So I decided to purchase this particular dehumidifier and was the smartest decision I made about it. In winter there's no more mold and actually it turns my bedroom a little warmer.
I would and have already recommended this product and my wife's aunt already purchased one just as mine and she's very happy with it too.

I had the dud version that worked great but failed after 1.5 years, so got this dad version which looks identical, it might fill up once a week and room smells musty still, just doesn't work and i'ved used dehumidifiers for 20+ years, don't buy this product !
