Quiet, efficient and easy to empty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Frigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier and are very happy with its performance. It is quiet, efficient and easy to empty. I've found the humidity sensor to be very accurate at keeping the basement comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very nice dehumidifier. I'm looking for one that will last more than a few years. There are so many reviews that say 'their not made to last anymore'. Time will tell and I'd be happy to write another review in the future. I did a thorough review prior to purchasing and this seemed to be the one. So I bought it. My real expectation is that it last 10+ years, as prices of dehumidifiers are not exactly cheap. My previous two dehumidifiers lasted 2-3 years and the manufacturer only offered me a 15% discount if I got another of the same make. I figure no way as they were cheaply made and I chose the Frigidaire. I hope it is built to last. My mothers dehumidifer is over 15 years old and still running strong! Whoever builds a reliable product that lasts is the one I people will buy without a doubt; of course that's true for any product. Anyway, this dehumidifer runs great, pulls the water out of the air quickly. I have tested the bucket collection and the hose; both work fine. I have mine hooked up via hose, since it is getting so much water out of the air. I have it set at 40%. It's not real noisy; seems to be the same as what I've experienced in the past from other units. To date I would recommend this dehumidifer, but ask me in 10 years for my 'real' review.

Extremely helpful after Hurricane Harvey flooding

Good unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this running for about a month now. I like the unit, it's on wheels, easy to operate. The noise level is as I'd expect. I upgraded my unit because this one is rated very high in consumer reports for energy efficiency.
The bucket is hard to pull out and put back. While I like the fact that it's on the front for easy access, I expect the bucket plastic to be more durable, including the handle. I feel like it's only a matter of time before the plastic cracks. I carry with two hands rather than by the handle.
