Will last about three years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this unit for one month but this is the third one I've owned over the last six years. I took one star off because they seem to last almost exactly three years before the gas leaks out and they stop putting out water. It's not worth getting repaired so I dispose of it and buy a new one. We truly live in a "throw-away" society, unfortunately. These units put out a LOT of water. I have a hose attached to the back that provides continuous flow into a floor drain. This is made easy because there is a tethered cap fitting on the back of the unit that you simply unscrew and screw on a hose. No drilling or permanent alteration of the drainage system is required. If ever I want to use the drain bucket I just detach the hose and screw the tethered cap back on.
This unit also works in low temperature environments without icing up.
I've read some reviews that complain of the unit being noisy but I would have to disagree. I have it in a finished part of my basement and find the noise level to be quite acceptable.

Excellent & Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit after my house had some water in it from Hurricane Harvey. It is easy to set up (be careful as it is heavy to pull from the box) and when the water fills up in the lower container, the unit shuts off automatically. To empty the container, life it out carefully because all the water in it makes it heavy. Hard to believe so much water comes out of the air! I love that the unit has wheels on it and that it is relatively quiet when on. I am pleased with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Removes humidity very well, it’s set at 45%. Electric bill is a bit higher though with this thing running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a few months ago to replace a 40 year old dehumidifier. I can't expect this unit to match my old one. I would like to see the coils to be sure they are not icing up as my old one did at it's life's end.
