Only One Issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set it up in my basement with a hose connection for continuous drain. In less than two weeks, I found the unit not operating due to an automatic feature that stops operation after 250 hours until the air filter is cleaned.
My basement is relatively dust-free, so the filter was completely clean and no cleaning was actually needed. If there's to be an automatic shutoff due to air filtration, it should operate from a d/p sensor and not merely run-time. I need to leave it running sometimes for 6 weeks without checking it.

It does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this in the summer months when the dampness was at it peak in our old house basement. With in 2 days the basement was dry and we turn it on every 3 days to maintain the dryness. It is quiet and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 3 weeks ago. I had a lot of difficulty in removing the empty tray because the factory taped it shut from the inside. I was going to return it but persisted and freed it with a pocket knife. Works well now.

Quiet and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier because of its rating in Consumer Reports. It works well and is quiet. I keep it near my washing machine in the basement and recycle the water by pouring it into a load of laundry.

The good and the bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier has given us great service over the past decade. We have owned three of them - each has died (lost refrigerant) a month or two after the warranty expired. The latest one we purchased works very well but the bucket is much harder to remove and replace than the previous two were. I'm trying to figure out where to lubricate or shave down the plastic to make it easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I were I were in need of a dehumidifier for our basement. I spent quite a bit of time researching different brands and models, but ultimately decided on Frigidaire because they’re a long-standing, reputable brand and we felt confident buying one of their products! We have a sump pump in our basement, so I wanted to find a dehumidifier with continuous operation that we could drin into. This dehumidifier fit the bill perfectly, and has been running nonstop without issue ever since!
