[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in New Orleans AKA the most humid area on earth. I am truly amazed by how this thing pulls out SO MUCH WATER out of the air. It is very easy to dump the water, very easy to clean the filter, and easy to just roll around the house.
My only negative comment is that it's a little noisy. It just sounds like a fan or something so I can't have it on when I'm in the living room watching TV.
My house finally feels like I'm inside! My bed is no longer damp and my clothes feel dry when I put them on in the morning!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

not fair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really isn't fair for me to review. Seems to be working okay but I attached a hose to drain and that isn't working. I have had several people look at it and we can't figure out why. I have to keep going down the basement to empty it and that's a huge inconvenience.

Some tips that can alleviate your concerns is to ensure the dehumidifier is set to a proper setting (low enough RH% so the unit turns on) and a garden hose is connected properly and tight enough.
Your garden hose should be 11/16" (17.5 mm) or larger in diameter, must not be “kinked” and must allow water to flow “downhill” and free of debris, tears or holes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a few over the years and this one would easily be one of the best bang-for-the-buck units. Simple to use; effective; and reliable. If was to add one feature it would be a back light for the water gage on the front. When I'm away my wife must get a flashlight to check the water level as she can't lift a full tank.

Garbage. Avoid like the plague

I bought this halfway through the summer of 2016, ran it for about a month, ran it last summer, now it's not condensing moisture. This is the second peice of junk dehumidifier I was stupid enough to buy from Frigidaire, but I won't make that mistake again. If you're going to make stuff in China, try a little quality control before you completely destroy your brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tex Boyle, I apologize that your dehumidifier is no longer collecting moisture. I understand that this can be frustrating and an inconvenience to your home. Have you checked to make sure the air filter is cleaned if the filter is dirty it can cause the appliance to not pull moisture? Additionally, check to make sure that the bucket is installed properly if the bucket is not installed it will not operate. Could you also place the unit in your bathroom with a hot shower on and turn the dehumidifier on to see if it will pull any moisture?
