Great job lowering humidity, BUT runs continually

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire dehumidifier arrived "ready to go" from Walmart shipping.
The instructions were easy to understand, and unit has worked wonderfully since the first day. The basement feels more comfortable, and the included water collector bucket is consistently and rapidly filling up, quickly. The nicely designed water collector bucket makes it so easy to carry up from the basement and water the outside flowers.
However, compared to our previous dehumidifier, the unit runs continually. That is, it only shuts off a fews seconds before fully operating again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent at removing water in my basement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this unit for 2 months and it holds the humidity at a constant 50% exactly where I set it. Removes a full bucket every day. Controls odors and prevents mold. A must for musty basement !

Drying the air as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At a few weeks old, the two speed fan dehumidifier is working well. I use in a basement that is about 1400 square feet, with temps hovering around 60-62 degrees. The digital controls are easy to use, setting desired humidity level, as well as time of operation. If I get 5-7 years of use during the warmer southern New England season, I'll consider the Frigidaire dehumidifier a value purchase. As in other units I have used, just go easy pulling the filled lower bucket out and when you pour to empty. I either re-purpose the collected water by pouring into our washing machine, or fill the wife's watering cans.
