Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My past dehumidifiers (this is my 3rd) lasted about 9-10 years and it was cheaper than this. Bought this after doing some research and reading reviews so I had high expectation. It was awesome in the beginning but after 2 yrs all the button settings stopped working. Filter reset, fan speed and humidity setting were no longer working so it was always on CO mode. Then we could no longer turn it on and off unless we unplug the unit. Now it keeps tripping my circuit breaker within 5 min of plugging it no matter what room I plug it in. It's only been exactly 4 years and it's totally unusable now. Frigidaire is supposed to be a dependable brand so I'm very disappointed with this item only lasting 4 yrs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review, Jaamsy! Typically the "CO” error message means the unit is running continuously. When the unit is first plugged in and turned on, it will run in this mode. It is best to maintain this mode for 3 -4 days or until conditions have improved. Like my 70 pint dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit to replace a recalled unit by another brand. So far so good, it really pulls moisture, we empty it once a day. It does seem to make the basement warmer when running, but hopefully not a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a dehumidifier in our crawl space that first had the pump go out, and then kept freezing up after adding an external pump. This has been running almost constantly for the past month and it hasn't given us any problems. Keeping the humidity in the crawl space around 30-35%.

Working Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to purchase a failed different model that was refunded under warranty. This one is actually a redo of an old model that was once recalled but works well. It lowered the humidity in my basement quickly and is fairly quiet-just fan noise. The humidity reader seems a bit off but makes no difference as you set it where ever you want and it acts consistently. I also like that is sucks in air in the front and out the top, which results in easier placement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely quiet & effective!

It does a great job maintaining the humidity level in our large basement. The bright display on top of the dehumidifier makes it easy to view the current level of humidity and make any desired adjustments. Prior to purchasing this dehumidifier, I did my research and found this product was highly rated. I wholeheartedly agree with the reviews I read and recommend this Frigidaire dehumidifier to all my friends and family.
