Frigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier - fine equipment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one month ago while my other dehumidifier (one year old) brand X went into the repair shop. All I can say is that when it comes out of repair, it goes up for sale. I will never buy brand X again

It's doing a fine job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During our first really humid weather of the season this unit is pumping out the water. Prior to humid weather it was not running constantly like the old unit that failed to keep up.

Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Dehumidifier about two months ago. Now were in the high humidity time of the summer and now I'm able to see how well it works. the features are well thought out. I like the auto restart to the last setting on a power failure.

Runs an awful lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works in terms of maintaining humidity level, but runs about 80% of the time (my estimate). Also, if there's a difference in "hi" and "low" fan speeds, I cannot detect it.

I would recommend you check if the dehumidifier is on "continuous" mode. Also, Please refer to page 9 of your owner's manual here- http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Edison/2020266a0493en.pdf to review probable causes of your dehumidifier running too much. If you have any additional questions, please contact us directly at 1-888-203-1389 Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday 8am-6pm EST.

Great Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier for the basement of my house and quickly noticed a difference in the air quality. I have to empty the tank about once a day, so I'm planning to add a drain hose soon. The display is very nice on this unit and it is easy to operate. The clean filter light is also very convenient. I would highly recommend this dehumidifier for its great combination of quality and price.

Easy to use and works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier for my basement because a lot of moisture seeps in the walls and floor. When I opened it it said to run on continuous mode for two or three days, by the end of day two my basement was nice and dry
