Glad I bought it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really pleased with the dehumidifier so far. I have been using it for about a month in my mostly finished basement which does not have an exterior door and has only one window which I do not keep open. Before I got the dehumidifier, the basement smelled of mildew and felt too damp. Now that I have the dehumidifier, those issues are a thing of the past; and the basement feels a lot more comfortable.
I like to run it continuously on the low fan setting. With this setting, it takes a whole day for the 70-pint bucket to fill up. With such a large capacity, it has been easy for me to just add emptying of the bucket to my daily routine. The controls are easy to understand and adjust. The unit and component pieces seem well designed too.
The only negative comments I have about the dehumidifier are that water from the portion above the bucket spills on to the base sometimes when I remove the bucket, but I think that happens when I try to remove the bucket too quickly. Also, the running fan tends to be a bit loud even at the low setting, but it does not bother me because the dehumidifier is in the basement which is not ever occupied.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Dehumidifier about a month ago and and found it very easy to set up and use. all I had to do was plug it in, hook up a hose and turn it on. Its be on constantly and controlling the humidity in the basement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's placed in a 2,000 sq. ft. basement with 7 separate rooms I built with each having non-glass window openings for ventilation and doors left open . The unit is reasonably quiet for its size and has done a good job keeping the humidity in check. Longevity will eventually reveal the overall quality but thus far very pleased.

Exactly what we needed
