Works as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this unit for about three weeks. We have a large basement and experienced some humidity smells, but now it is so much better. The dehumidifier removed about two gallons of water per day during the first 10 days and we now only run it enough to keep 40% humidity. Setup and operation are very simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to purchase another frigidaire dehumidifier because the first one we bought never worked even when going through the troubleshooting. Our basement was damp and smelled musty so we decided to try again. This one works so well !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit based on it's daily capacity and the overall good reviews. I have it in my basement, with a drain hose hooked up to drain into a nearby floor drain so I never have to empty it. I can definitely tell a difference not only in the basement, which is no longer musty smelling, but throughout the whole house, as it has brought down the interior humidity in the upper floors as well, making it comfortable even with the thermostat set at 77-78. As a result, I would have to assume that my AC is working less than it was before.
