[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can set the humidity level you desire for the room you are using it in. I set to 55% but the thing continues to run even when it’s displaying that the humidity level is 45%. Annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am sorry to learn of the slight hiccups with your dehumidifier’s settings.
In some cases, your Humidity setting may be too high. Press the HUMIDITY button and try a lower setting or choose CONTINUOUS for maximum dryness. Did you know? If the room temperature is too low your unit will not operate satisfactorily. Please check your Use and Care Manual for more helpful tips.

When it came time for replacing the old model we went again with Frigidaire. We have been completely satisfied with the performance of this dehumidifier. You can’t go wrong with a Frigidaire!
