Manufactures Reputation & Warranty Sold This Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased one of these units last year for a summer home. Purchased a second this year for our primary residence. OEM Warranty was the best we found during our reserach. Much quieter than the units replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to dry out my basement from an air conditioner malfunction. It has been going strong for a month now. I have emptied it once or twice a day and didn't realize how much moisture was down there. Easy to empty and filter is easy to remove, wash and put back. Nice reminder light to tell you when time to wash filter.

Very effective control of humidity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaged well, easily assembled and put into use. Initially, in 24 hours, the unit pulled 140 liters of moisture out of the room air. My only concern is the plastic housing and dump bucket. The plastic is thin and flimsy; my concern is potential breakage. However, after several months of use, everything is A-okay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving and returning 2 of these units, I purchased a different manufacture. Neither unit would pull the humidity below 45 in a 1600 sq ft basement. One of the units would not drain thru a connected hose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
