Great Unit

I have a rather large unfinished basement and no other humidifier has been able to perform as well as the Frigidaire 70 Pint Capacity Dehumidifier

The unit does a good job. My electric bill went up $30 a month but that is worth having a moist free mold free basement. The tank would fill up in 12 hours so I put a clear hose and hooked the drain to the sump pump. Hassle free now! It cycles on and off and keep the basement at 55% humidity
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for basement!

This dehumidifier replaces one I bought several years ago. This one is attractive, quiet and does a great job removing moisture from the room. Highly recommended.

This replaced a recalled unit. So far so good except I don't think the humidity sensor is that accurate. But it's doing the job required.

A Great Choice

In spite of many rainy days, this dehumidifier has kept my basement dry. Well designed, set up and maintenance is easy. I bought a new Frigidaire Refrigerator several years ago and was very pleased with it as well. I have read some complaints that could have been caused by not letting the dehumidifier (they do have compressors) set for 24 hours after unpacking.
I would recommend this to a friend!
