[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new house and was worried that I was going to have to waterproof the basement because it smelled dank. My Frigidaire dehumidifier has made all the difference in the world! It made the air in my basement dry and fresh. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t have a pump to empty the water in the tank. It does have a place to attach a hose to allow it to drain into a floor drain or in my case into a utility sink. But it has to be placed on a very sturdy shelf above the sink in order to be able to drain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

However, like all other dehumidifiers in the same price range it does not last more than one-to-two years; essential to have extended warranty.
