[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was a free replacement, under the warranty period, for the identical model I owned for less than three years. The old unit was showing an "EC" code that was non serviceable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace a different brand that quit working. Humidity in the basement got up to 79% so my wife made me buy a new one or else. So far it works good, we'll see how long this one lasts.

best dehumidifier ever

Does its job well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit about a month ago and it has been working very effectively in our basement through an extremely wet couple of weeks. Runs quietly and reduced the humidity level from 85 to 55 in the first 3-4 hours it was plugged in. We use continuous drain which is a nice feature.
